O	O antigens: ‘somatic’ antigens (E. coli)
OF	Oxidative-Fermentative
OF Medium	OF: Oxidation/Fermentation
OGYE	Oxytetracycline-Glucose-Yeast Extract. Used in media for isolating yeasts and molds from foods.
OGYE Agar	OGYE: Oxytetracycline Glucose Yeast Extract
ONPG	ortho-nitrophenyl-beta-galactoside; used to test for galactosidase.
Osmophilic	Describes yeasts which can grow at low water activity (to about 0.65)
Oxgall	Dehydrated beef bile.
